Hump day, slump day.
Half-way through the work week, but still a few days left to go.
What, then, is a writer to do when weariness sets in and motivation stalls?
Well…
We must press on, of course! (Thus the visual goodies above to kick-start some happy thoughts. Don’t pretend you’re immune to strawberries and chocolate—fibbing isn’t healthy.)
I don’t know about you, but I believe in heaping helpings of encouragement.
Let’s turn off the Downer Dans and Dismal Debbies for the time being and concentrate on a little cheer, shall we?

Cyndy, Wow! I am so glad you have followed God’s path for writing. You can see the love that you have for it in each of your blogs and webpage. (NICE Webpages, BTW) I am just starting out on my writing journey, but wanted you to know that you have a Gift. Are you going to RWA next week? It is my first. I would love to meet you.

Laura, thanks so much for your kind comments—you humble me. No, I won’t be attending RWA this year, but I’ll be thinking of you! Go, Laura, go!
Aww… I am disappointed that I will not get to meet you. Well my next conference that I am aiming for will be next year at ACWC in Dallas. That is closer to home for you, so maybe? No, I am not a conference junkie (lol) just trying to learn all I can and keep my seat in my chair and write. Thank you again for your many positive notes of encouragement. Beth was definitely correct and that is a HUGE gift that God has given you. May you always be encouraged right back.
Blessings, Laura
Well, you just brightened my day!
So have Beth Vogt and Jeanne Takenaka. I hit a new low recently (with a comment from someone close, indicating that it would be easier for all if I were dead), and their messages of hope and faith really resonate with me.
Such a funny thing, to have lifelines from people I will likely never meet. It is truly a new world.

Andrew, cruelty in any form repulses me. I’m so sorry someone hurt you.
May your day be blessed beyond measure, my friend!
