Upcoming Fun on the Blog authorcynthiaherron.com

While some parts of the country are knee-deep in snow and bone-chilling cold, here in the Ozarks we can’t complain. Today in my little niche the sun’s shining with a projected high of fifty degrees. Fifty degrees.

In fact, forecasts predict a nice round of upper sixties for the next ten days or so. Ahh.

Spring fever, here I come!

Of course, while this sounds fabulous I well know those predictions are subject to change. After all—we’re talking the Ozarks here where anything can happen. Still, I’m thankful for today, for this moment.

As we approach the new season, I wanted to share some upcoming blog fun. After 700+ blog posts, I think we’ve probably chatted about everything from A to Z. (Shameless plug— If you haven’t yet explored my archives, please do! TONS of uplifting, encouraging content there. Please share with your friends, too.)

Now, what’s ahead?

Would you help spread the word?

As we move forward together, if there’s something you particularly enjoy or something on the blog that inspires you, please share my posts with your friends and family.

Tell others about a specific post that moves you. Share this blog through Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or whatever medium you like. (Of course, good ol’ word-of-mouth works, too.)

Thanks so much for joining me as we do life together.

You are loved.

Dear Cynthia … Such a fun posting. We just had our season tickets for Silver Dollar City come in our mailbox. This is the first time that we have purchased season tickets. Also, we are planning on checking Billy Gail’s out the next time we are down your way. We love Branson, such a clean and wholesome place to spend time away from home.

    Blessings & Hugs

Teri, I think you will definitely enjoy your time at Silver Dollar city— (Squeee!!! Maybe our paths will finally cross. I’m so happy you have season passes, too. 🙂 ) If you research “Silver Dollar City” in my archives, you’ll see I’ve blogged about it many times over the years. There are some DOs and DONT’s to get the most out of your time there. DO wear comfy walking shoes and carry a lightweight backpack or over-the-shoulder clutch and keep your essentials to a minimum. It’s very hilly and you will do LOTS of walking. Don’t forget a hat, sunblock, sunglasses, and a light jacket if you come during the cooler weather. Arrive at the park EARLY for premium parking (my hubby and I always pay an additional charge for the closer parking). Also, the park WILL be crowded; we rarely go on holidays. Explore SDC’s website—there is a ton of info there, but if you have specific questions, don’t hesitate to ask. (And you might consider adding the SDC app to your phone. It’s very helpful.)

You will love Billy Gail’s, as well. Again—arrive EARLY. They fill up quickly and parking is limited.

Hope to meet you in person one day soon, my friend!

Oh, I forgot to mention that our weather is much like yours. We were 70 degrees this afternoon. It looks like we have lovely, days ahead. Of course like you, our weather can change at a moments notice. Enjoy these beautiful days.

    Hugs 💝 Teri
