I’m taking a mini-blog break on this Veterans Day, but I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to our military veterans.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice. A mere thank you hardly seems enough.

Because of you, we enjoy freedoms other countries can only dream about.

I recently read this veteran’s inspiring story of  courage. He’s eighty-eight and still living life to the fullest, despite all he endured. This gentleman’s strength and fortitude blessed me, as I know it will you.

Veterans, I salute you!

What does Veterans Day mean to you?

*On Wednesday, I’ll be guest-posting at Married with Fiction. I hope you’ll stop by and check out my wedding story!

Veterans’ Day is a time to remember that people lost their futures to keep America free.

Not willingly – almost no one dies willingly – but they were there, and their lives were forfeit to a legacy that we are honour-bound to uphold.
