His Love Revealed Pre-Launch Fun and a Giveaway authorcynthiaherron.com

His Love Revealed is almost here, and today I thought we’d celebrate with some pre-launch book fun!

For those who are members of my Facebook readers’ group, you know that fun is often our catchphrase where Ida Mae Hoscutt is concerned.

Ida Mae is the beloved proprietress of the vintage-era Come and Get It Diner in Ruby, Missouri, and the cooking isn’t the only thing that draws folks to her place.

For most, it’s all about camaraderie, atmosphere, and acceptance—the qualities that make us want to revisit a place again and again.

The hallmark of the Welcome to Ruby series is down-home fun shared in the form of stories that warm readers’ hearts and encourage their spirit. (Click-to-Tweet)

Today in that vein, let’s kick off the upcoming release of His Love Revealed (10/1/20) with some pre-launch book love. Squeeee!

Will revelations of the past hijack their future?

Since childhood, Ida Mae Hoscutt, the beloved proprietress of the Come and Get It Diner, has loved Charles “Chuck” Farrow from afar. Now on the eve of her thirty-ninth birthday with no marriage proposal in sight, Ida Mae mourns past mistakes and contemplates a makeover. When a radio commercial wrenches Ida Mae’s heart, will a sudden turn of events sabotage her chance for happiness or will a long-held secret be the answer to love ever-after?

As Ida Mae’s right-hand man at the Come and Get It, Chuck yearns to shift gears and start over. He’s ready to shelve bachelorhood and blunders in favor of possibilities and new beginnings. When he prepares to move forward, two things challenge his objective. One is the father who walked away and never looked back. The other? A decades-old question that only Ida Mae can answer.

And Ida Mae isn’t talking.

I have never lived in a small town – in fact, I grew up in the craziness that is Southern California. 🙂 But we got a little of a small town feeling at a Mexican Restaurant we frequented there very regularly. Our favorite server recognized us, knew my dad’s name and always treated us to appetizers while we waited for our seats and gave us top-notch, personalized service.

I loved getting to know Ida Mae and Chuck. Your small town stories are wonderful!

Phyllis, as you know, I adore small towns. I like to travel, but it’s always nice to come home to rural life and all that’s familiar.

I love that your favorite server made your dining experience special. I’m so happy you enjoy my stories and the little Ozarks town of Ruby, Missouri!
