A Blogging Break

Cynthia Herron Blogging 4 Comments

I’m taking the day off from blogging today so I can devote time to my WIP, but I  did want to remind you of a few things:

* Last Friday I was the guest blogger at Writer…Interrupted. I spoke about the writing craft and shared some thoughts on things that writers don’t often talk about. I hope you’ll pop over and check out the post. While you’re there, you can learn more about lovely author Gina Conroy and Cherry Blossom Capers.

* I also wanted to remind you of my ongoing blog giveaways. The July drawing will be at the end of this month, with prize yet-to-be-determined. Tonya A. won June’s giveaway which included (2) $15 gift cards and some nice girly treats. Be sure and leave a comment or SUBSCRIBE to my blog post updates for your chance to win! (See the complete rules here–scroll down to the bottom of that post.)

*I’m currently reading Keli Gwyn’s début novel, A Bride Opens Shop in El Dorado, California. I’ll be reviewing Keli’s book sometime in the near future and hosting a separate giveaway in celebration of her success. Also, you won’t want to miss Keli’s upcoming guest appearance here. (I’ll keep you posted when that will be.)

Some more great folks to check out:

How sweet of you to mention me.

Enjoy your break. I think I was finally able to subscribe to your blog. I think it went through.

    I’m reading Keli’s book too!

One of my favorite summer memories is vacationing in Minnesota when I was 9. The whole family was there. We stayed on a big lake and it was such a great time. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Winning the June give away was such a great blessing! To me, it was so much more than a simple prize. Knit together with several other little circumstances, it became part of an avalanche of God’s love on a day when I really needed it. Thanks, Cynthia!

And thank you for sharing more great authors’ blogs for us to explore!
