Welcome back! Happy New Year!
I’m delighted you’re here.
If you’re like me, the end of the holiday season is met with mixed emotion.
Additional time spent with loved ones is wonderful, and when it’s over I’m a little sad. It’s nice, though, to get back into the swing of things. While I enjoy a brief respite from social media, I miss the routine of a regular writing schedule. Now that we’re well into 2016, I’m eager to dive back into my work-in-progress, as well as other endeavors.
I hope you were able to rest and regroup during Christmas break and that this month brings clarity and focus regarding new goals.
My January newsletter went out to subscribers this week so please check your inboxes. Heartfelt Homespun Fiction from the Ozarks was jam-packed with encouragement and a slice-of-life vignette many of you will relate to.
In my newsletter I also mentioned my one word for the new year. I rarely hop on the one word train, but this season I reconsidered. Here’s why and here’s the word via my LinkedIn post.
In the next few months, I’ll transition to a new cyber home. While I’ve loved my current website, it’s time for a refresh.
My “brand” and my writing focus will remain the same. Faith and encouragement will continue as themes on my blog and in my newsletters. (Speaking of which—if you haven’t already, you can sign up for both in the sidebar. I blog on W/F and my newsletters go out at the beginning of each month. No Downer Debbie content allowed! 🙂 )
Now—let’s kick off 2016 right!
I think some motivation’s in order.
