Today as Christmas 2018 winds down, I pray you and yours have enjoyed a fantastic holiday season filled with loads of love and good cheer!
Over our way, we celebrated the birth of our Savior with family and friends. We attended church events and dinners, made new memories, and savored fun, food, and fellowship with loved ones. As usual, Christmas came and went too quickly.
And in the middle of all this…

There’s the joy (and busyness) of holiday prep—decorating, shopping, and baking. Then, there’s the much-anticipated book baby I’ve nursed for the past year—really, longer, if I include the many years leading up to the big event.
It’s a season of glitter and goosebumps—Christmas with a twist.

Her Hope Discovered, this book of my heart, kicks off my Welcome to Ruby series and what I hope is the springboard to new beginnings. I can’t wait to introduce you to the lives and loves of the quirky, lovable characters who live in Ruby—in this charming, little town tucked deep within the Missouri Ozarks. I pray it’s your new favorite place and a town you’ll want to return to.
Ruby isn’t perfect and neither are the folks who live there, but second chances are a mainstay, topped off with generous portions of grace and grins.
And in today’s world, that’s a really wonderful thing!
