What could be better than a fun fall read?
How about a book signing event to whet your appetite for that read?! Today I’m excited to share details about my upcoming library event for Her Hope Discovered.
Tomorrow, Saturday, November 9th, if you’re traveling through the Ozarks, I’d love for you to join us at the Christian Country Missouri Library (the Nixa, Missouri Library Branch @ 208 N. McCroskey) from 11:30 to 12:30. I’ll read a brief excerpt from my debut novel Her Hope Discovered, book one of the Welcome to Ruby series, and there will be freebies, fun, giveaways, and of course—books! If you already have your own copy of HHD, feel free to bring it and I’ll be delighted to sign it for you.
Also, Christmas is next month ~ Can you believe it?
It’s the perfect time to Christmas shop! I’ll have copies of Her Hope Discovered on hand to purchase, and you’ll want to be sure and grab your FREE goodie bags. There will be prize giveaways, as well!
I’m looking so forward to meeting readers—many of whom I’ve met online. Speaking of which, if we’ve “met” through social media, please be sure and share. That helps me put names with faces and establish that connection in my mind.
As you may remember, I’m knee-deep in deadline mode with book two so I’m rather foggy at the moment. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Now, no worries if you can’t make tomorrow’s event. I have another book signing scheduled for Thursday, February 13th, 2020 (yes, the day before Valentine’s Day) so you can add that one to your calendar, if you like. This event will be at the Clever, Missouri Library Branch @ 7450 W. Veterans Blvd from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. How “sweet” is that? Bring your Valentine and celebrate the season with us! We’ll have more goodies! ♥
I’ll continue to update my events page here on the website as I add future events. Hope to see you soon!

I recently asked this question on my Facebook page. At an author’s book signing event, do you prefer the author read a book excerpt from the beginning of the story OR the middle?
