Today, I was set to do a follow-up post to Monday’s Are Critique Partners Necessary? With it being a holiday, however, I’ve decided to take today off and save Part Two until Friday.
I’d like to mention just a few quick things:
*Tonya Ashley, you’re my June blog giveaway winner. Congratulations! Please contact me soon with your mailing info so I can send you your awesome prizes. (I won’t share your address with anyone, but you must respond before 5 pm Friday, July 6, 2012.) Unless I hear from you, I’ll randomly select another name at that time.
*Please remember to pop over to Gina Conroy’s fabulous blog, Writer Interrupted, on Friday as I guest post about the writing craft. Gina is the superfab author of “Buried Deception,” a novella in Cherry Blossom Capers.
*I hope you’ll join me in supporting sweet gal, Keli Gwyn, as her début book, A Bride Opens Shop in El Dorado, California hits shelves. Visit her wonderful website, too, for a sneak peek of her reaction to seeing her novel in print for the very first time. Oh, and have a tissue handy. 😉
Last, but not least, may you and your family have a restful holiday as you celebrate our nation’s independence.
Due to the drought where I’m at, we won’t be shooting off too many fireworks, but we’ll enjoy our time together, nevertheless.
See you back here on Friday! Happy 4th of July!

How are you celebrating the holiday today?
REMINDER:
I’ll have another blog drawing at the end of the month. Check out the scoop here for rules and how to enter.

We hung out at home and worked a bit in the yard late in the day. It was too hot for much of anything else!

Patti, isn’t that the truth! The heat has been unbearable for so many. Stay cool, friend.
