Fried-daaay. Ahh!
Today I’m doing a brief end of the week wrap-up.
Raise your hand if you’re ready for the weekend. There goes mine. See it?
This week has zipped by at breakneck speed. While I’m happy about that, to be honest, I’m a little worn-out. A little frazzled around the edges.
Ever feel that way?
Whew.
So glad I’m not alone. Makes this third cup of coffee easier to swallow. (Not that I need much coaxing.) *slurp*
I accomplished a lot, but I’m bone tired. And between us—it was really hard to nudge myself out of bed this morning. I tried to launch a counter attack with the snooze button but it wasn’t to be.
So…
I dug in my heels and went into get ‘er done mode.
Breakfast. Clean-up. Pack lunches. Send hubs off to work, daughter off to school. Laundry. Clean toilets. Office work. Write.
It’s my first day this week without appointments or must-dos. Well, unless you count grocery shopping. And I’d much rather do that today than tomorrow. Saturday shopping holds no appeal.
Some fun things to note:
- I added some new head shots. Which one do you like best? (And a gold star if you guess my favorite color.) 🙂
- My March newsletter goes to subscribers’ inboxes next week. Check your e-mail Tuesday! Not signed up for the fun yet? It’s easy and painless to do. Just enter your info into the coordinating box, click on the confirmation link that will arrive in your e-mail, and you’ll be good to go. Heartfelt, homespun encouragement will arrive shortly! (And remember—I will never spam you or send out multiple e-mail blasts to steal your time.)
- My W/F blogging schedule remains the same. Posts usually go live at five CST. Did you miss this recent fave? 10 Things You Should Know About the Writing Life may strike a chord.
- I have a lovely, new Facebook banner my website team created this week. I hope you’ll pop over and check it out. And while you’re there, let’s connect! I’d love to know you better.
And if you’re a writer and you missed Tina Radcliffe’s recent thoughts on Seekerville, be sure and read: Writer Beware. Lots to chew on. Tina nails it!
Have a great weekend, friend!
