I wanted to let you know that in addition to my Facebook author page, I recently started Cynthia’s FABulous Readers and Influencers’ Group. If you enjoy Heartfelt, Homespun Fiction and want to stay up-to-date on my upcoming books, I hope you’ll join us at both places. (Click-to-Tweet) My new FB group is where I’ll chat more in-depth about Her Hope Discovered and additional books in my Welcome to Ruby series. This is a “closed” group for those who are interested in connecting with me on a more personal level and for those who want to spread the word about my future books. To foster a more intimate, relaxed setting, the group is easy to find, but all posts are private. Again, I really hope to see you there!
Another important update is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Within the next week or so, I will be implementing my website’s privacy policy. Be sure and watch for those upcoming changes.
In addition, when new subscribers join my newsletter, they can rest assured I will not sell their information to third parties. My monthly e-newsletters are free to subscribers. You do not have to purchase anything to receive them. If you’re a current newsletter subscriber, you may receive an e-mail in the near future with a friendly reminder to update your preferences. This will let me know you still want to continue hearing from me.
See?
And you probably thought authors just wrote awesome books. If only.
Finally, I’ve updated and added new boards on Pinterest. If you enjoy vintage and nostalgia with a hint of contemporary, then check out Homespun Happiness, Small-Town Life, and Red Country Kitchen. Of course, there are comfort food and recipe boards, Ozarks goodies, and all things romance. Drop by and take a look! (Pssst… My “secret” Her Hope Discovered board will go live in the near future!)

I can’t think of the *best* change I’ve ever made but definitely one of them was deciding to accept the publishing contract with Anaiah Press. It’s completely changed the direction of my life this year and probably for years to come – I hope. I took a leap of faith and have been so blessed by it. Many changes seem to be negative in our lives but they can also be good, great and awesome! Even if it seems to be a negative at the time, embrace it and see what the Lord has for you.

Laurie, great for you on your leap of faith! Change is so tough sometimes, but once we move beyond it, we often find it a stepping stone in our journey. I agree—it’s all in how we look at it.
Cynthia, Sometimes updates are the best coffee break of all. (Although tea for me, please!) Bunny slippers and pajamas sound wonderful. Thank you for the update, and thank you for having me a few weeks back. Tanya.

Tanya, so delighted to have you as my blog guest! Loved your post and the beauty of your heart.
Now, settle in… *clink* (No worries. I’ll make yours tea. And do you have time for a little Cary Grant today? 😉 )
