Today I’m thanking God for freedom in Christ and for the many freedoms we have in this great nation of the United States of America. These are blessings that I don’t take for granted. I pray today you are celebrating these things, as well, and enjoying this holiday with your loved ones.
We celebrated some Independence Day activities with family yesterday. Here are a few photos from our gathering.

In what ways are you celebrating this holiday? Do you carve out time to write, or is it strictly family and fireworks? (No pun intended…)

I love that most of your photos are of food! Just like our gatherings! We celebrated with family on Saturday, so today I had the luxury of writing time. Though I did go into work for a bit to watch the kids’ Independence Day Parade. Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July to you, too, Sarah! I’m so glad you were able to write! 🙂
I like that creative application of nail polish…really showing her colors. I haven’t written anything this weekend, not even a note to remind myself to do something. Oh, ok, I did add a couple of items to the grocery list. Our fireworks were cancelled because of a thunderstorm, but we hadn’t planned to attend. I’m trying to ignore your food pictures. If I don’t see them, the calories will not be added to my body. Did YOU get any writing done?

Oh, Patti…when I see your replies, I just want to hug your neck! Yes, I did get a little writing done. 🙂 And our family fireworks are rescheduled, too, because of storms. Tonight, hopefully.
