As you might guess after writing 600+ blog posts, I have more than a few favorite heartfelt, homespun thoughts.

While encouragement is the heartbeat of this blog, hearth and home and small town life are near and dear to my heart.

I love sharing bits and pieces of the Ozarks with you and inviting you into my world, if only for a little while.

You might also guess that I like to craft stories with warm, vibrant characters who live in small, fictional towns similar to my little corner of the world. (For more why I write Heartfelt, Homespun Fiction, check out my writing page.)

The Ozarks are unique. Our way of life is a little slower here. We value tradition and we appreciate our roots. We’ve accepted change in the name of progress.

Though times have changed, these old mountains and foothills are the same—ripe with culture and rich in heritage. We remember the old ways, yet we’re hopeful for the future.

Please join me as I share my six favorite heartfelt, homespun blog posts.
