During the next few days, I’m preparing for the Thanksgiving holiday. (And yes. Wouldn’t you know? I’m a list-maker. I have my Things to Do list and my Grocery Store list. It’s so much easier that way!)
As I mentioned last week, I’ll be taking a short blogging break, but I’ll return again next Monday (Dec. 2nd). I plan to enjoy my family and some much-needed downtime. While I’m away from my cyber home, I’ll be checking in a wee bit on Twitter and Facebook and I’d love to connect with you there!

I’m not doing much online this weekend, either. Our anniversary landed on Thanksgiving this year, so we had the day to ourselves–and went out to eat. No messy kitchen!

The gift card I would like to win would be to any chain restaurant, like Applebee’s, Chili’s, Olive Garden, etc. Or I would like to win Starbucks, who doesnt love coffee?!
My favorite dishes that I cooked for Thanksgiving was my Mom’s chicken dressing, and my homemade chocolate pie! Mmm sooo good, we have eaten it for days! lol
