Have you had a tough week? Are you ready for a bright spot?

Then you’ve come to the right place!

Sit back, kick your shoes off, and soak in some encouragement. I have a few diddies just for YOU.

Every week I scour cyberland high and low for goodies to bless your heart. I think by Friday all of us are ready for a dose of happy and a dollop of feel-good. (Nothing wrong with that!)

There’s something here for everyone, so enjoy!

First, see what Aunt Ruthie’s been up to. This is a cozy little place I’ve fallen in love with! Pop over and explore her cyber home and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Over at Sugar Pie Farmhouse you’ll find deelish recipes like Aunt Ruthie’s Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes and Hillbilly Spaghetti Pie. MY. OH. MY!  You’ll love the upbeat feel of this site.

Moving on… ever wonder why motivated people seem to succeed even when faced with adversity? Well, wonder no more! Check out Lifehack’s 8 Things Highly Motivated People Do Differently. There are some valuable lessons here.

Building on the encouragement theme, you won’t want to miss this via Guideposts: The Singing Doctor Has a Unique Way of Delivering Newborns. Talk about spreading joy! This fellow has it down. Watch the two-minute video—you’ll smile the rest of the day.

For my writing friends attending the ACFW conference soon, check out Melissa Tagg’s fabulous suggestions on how to pack. Her list is ever-so-helpful and it’ll put a big grin on your face. (And about #10. Fanny packs. Hmm.)

Speaking of writing, Susie May Warren offers great tips in her recent post Characters Worth Rooting For. Wonderful meat-and-potatoes advice here with lots of valuable insight.

And to wind things down—some encouragement from me to you.

You’re valuable.

You matter.

God has something tremendous in store for you!
